I did not have a lot of friends when I was young, but I do not think I ever felt (HAPPY) or lonely. My teachers said that I had a lot of (IMAGINE) and it is true that, as I explored the dark, (EXCITE) forests that surrounded our house, I liked to talk to the people who lived only in my mind. One of my (FAVOUR) characters was a pretty young girl who had a (WONDER) laugh. We spent many hours together, telling each other funny stories and jokes. Of course, I knew she was not a real person, but she was (SURPRISE) like the lady I met and married twenty years later.

When Helen woke up that morning she had a strange (FEEL) that something was not quite right, and it was some time before she realised what it was. (NORMAL), she could hear the birds singing in the trees outside her window, but today there was only (SILENT). The light in her room seemed (DIFFER), too. She jumped out of bed and ran to look (NERVE) out of her bedroom window. What she saw made her smile with (PLEASE). During the night it had snowed (HEAVY). She was happy because she knew that there would be no school, she could play in the snow all day!

The company I work for have offered me (PROMOTE). They want me to take charge of a new (DEVELOP) in one of Scotland's largest cities. This means that I will have to sell my house and leave the city where I have lived since my (CHILD). I have started searching for a house in Glasgow already, but the ones I have seen so far have all been (SUIT) for one reason or another. Some of them were too small and others were too (EXPENSE). I am beginning to worry that if I don't find a good house soon I will have to tell my (EMPLOY) that I am (ABLE) to accept his offer.
